Rainy Day Check

Spring summer weather can be hard to predict. One minute you’re wearing this summer dress and sandals and enjoying the sun and next you know the sky is all gloomy and about to pour. You’ve got to be prepared for the rain. It can be a bit difficult to dress up on a rainy day because there are so many things to consider.  Material is one of the things to consider when you’re stepping out, there are some materials that are a totally no-no for a rainy day like suede. Then you’ve got to worry about staying dry without sacrificing on the style. But don’t you worry; we are here to make this a lot easier for you.
In spite of the forecast, we know it is important to always look your best always, so even when all you want to do is sit inside, sip a coffee and watch the rain from your window or you gave a get-together inside your house, our job is to keep you stylish while doing it.
Colours: Don’t be scared to sport colours on a rainy day. You can stand bright and chic even when it’s pouring heavy. If the weather is not too chilly, wear a short skater dress in stripes or checks but with colours and pull on wellington boots in a bright hue. You can throw in a thin above-the-knee coat if it gets a bit chilly. Add an umbrella and walk around stylishly as if the rains are not going to stop you from looking trendy.
Rain Boots: Without them, don’t even think of stepping out unless you want to ruin your shoes or wear rubber shoes which are a total fashion disaster. There are so many cute rain boots out there today to fit any sense of style – they literally come in every color under the sun. Wear them with dresses, skirts or tight pants. They are comfortable to wear and add style to your somber outfit.
Umbrellas: They are the most essential accessory on a rainy day. Choose an umbrella according to your outfit. It will instantly add a dimension to your outfit as well as keep you dry.

Hats: Fedora hats are a good choice to sport when there is a light drizzle. They will protect your hair from getting damp and moist. Wear skin-tight trousers, a pair of Wellington boots, a full sleeve blouse and add a fedora hat. You’re all set to stand out chic and elegant.
