“Without
music life would be a mistake” - Friedrich Wilhelm Nietzsche
Electrifying music, sheer raw energy and unlimited
flow of beer hardly describes the scene at the second day of TGIOF at KTPO.
After performing for the insatiable Bangalore crowd on day 1, the bands &
artists lined up for day 2 left the crowd begging for more. British Rock band
Killer Queen U.K.(A tribute band to Queen), International Trance & Electro
Queen DJ Claudia, Indie – Rock, Alternative Rock, Reggae, Metal, Progressive artists
like Eka, Indus creed, Rabbi Shergill, Junkyard Groove, Slingshot, Pitch BlackSymphony, Tough on Tobacco, Live Banned, Chronic Blues Circus took Bangaloreans
by a storm and hit them hard with astounding musical acts.
Rabbi Shergill’s Bulla ki Jaana was most acclaimed
with the crowd shouting for more. International female DJ Claudia gave the
crowd a sizzling hot trance, pleading her to go on. Remixes played by Killer
Queen once again brought up the energy levels of the crowd with people rocking
to the music in masti.
If live performances weren’t enough to get the
crowd in frenzy, there were racing games, flea market and party items like
funky wigs, glares, colorful hats, devil horns, angel halos and more. All
around people were dressed in party attires, sporting a funky hat, wig or
headdress, carrying mugs of beer, chatting with friends or just lightly swaying
to the music.
People went back expecting another day of fun and
fiesta, promising each other to return again next day, to drink some more and
dance to the tunes of Poets of the Fall, Super8 & Tab, Kryptos, Goddess
gagged, Jagged Surge, Molotov Cocktail, Adam & Fish Eyed Poets, DJ Chico
and more.
