The Day 3 of TGIOF was the most awaited and highly
hyped event of this year for its renowned International and national music
artists lined up to perform live. Poets Of The Fall was the highlight of the
The Great Indian October Fest. Music lovers and fans from all over the country
came to Bangalore just to watch it perform. International DJs Super8 & Tab
were other favorites of the crowd.
Adam & Fish Eyed Poets opened the day with
their lovely blues, followed by alternative/rock by Goddess Gagged,
mind-blowing Metal by Jagged Surge, beautiful Sufi Rock by PralayH, Rock/Heavy
Metal, Reggae, Hiphop by Molotov Cocktail, Little Babooshka’s Grind, Lou Majaw
& Friends, Kryptos, Rock by Finnish Band Poets Of The Fall, House &
Trance by International DJs Super8 & Tab, and Bollywood by DJ Chico with
visuals by VJ Kaycee.
People thronged the stage to get a closer look at
their beloved artists and danced to their tunes. With beer in hand, friends to
accompany, open air field to roam around, people forgot all bonds and became
one with the music. They shopped at the flea market, bought funky wigs, hats
and various headdresses, savored exquisite cuisines at the food court all the
while gliding with the music and getting drunk on the elixir of life – Beer.
Bangalore witnessed a musical phenomenon at a time
when it’s live performances & night life is in danger. The Great Indian
October Fest brought with it a new hope, a promise of unlimited Fun, Beer and
Music, a revival of its fiery spirit. The city now eagerly awaits its return.
