Day 3: Fun Goes On…

                  “There's music in the sighing of a reed;
                   There's music in the gushing of a rill;
                   There's music in all things, if men had ears:
                   Their earth is but an echo of the spheres.”
                                         -Lord Byron

The Day 3 of TGIOF was the most awaited and highly hyped event of this year for its renowned International and national music artists lined up to perform live. Poets Of The Fall was the highlight of the The Great Indian October Fest. Music lovers and fans from all over the country came to Bangalore just to watch it perform. International DJs Super8 & Tab were other favorites of the crowd.

Adam & Fish Eyed Poets opened the day with their lovely blues, followed by alternative/rock by Goddess Gagged, mind-blowing Metal by Jagged Surge, beautiful Sufi Rock by PralayH, Rock/Heavy Metal, Reggae, Hiphop by Molotov Cocktail, Little Babooshka’s Grind, Lou Majaw & Friends, Kryptos, Rock by Finnish Band Poets Of The Fall, House & Trance by International DJs Super8 & Tab, and Bollywood by DJ Chico with visuals by VJ Kaycee.

Fire.
One of the five elements that make up a human body has one primary primordial property.It CONSUMES.Hunger, thirst, desire, craving and yearning are nothing but different symbols of fire.The effort of all mortal life goes in finding a way to douse, quench and satiate these forms of fire.Believe me, fire fighting was never such fun as it is now with KOOVS as we present FLAMBE. FLAMBE, the exquisite restaurant teams up with KOOVS to offer a flat 60% discount. Now if you have read this far you know we are actually playing the devil by setting up your senses on fire and feeding it with the fuel of desire. Helping you give in by making temptations tempting. That’s Koovs for you.
The term Flambé [flahm-BAY] is a French word meaning "flaming" or "flamed." Flambé means to ignite foods that have liquor or liqueur added. This is done for a dramatic effect and to develop a rich flavor of the liqueur to the foods without adding the alcohol. The flames result from the combustion of the flammable alcohol, which is quickly consumed, subsequently extinguishing the flames. The dish is served as soon as the flame disappears. The name Flambé is in support of this style of cooking. With the addition of Flambé trolleys we bring in new light of interactive experiences within the restaurant.
